It can even eliminate the need for re-shampooing when wicking (capillary action) occurs in heavily soiled carpets. Safeguard Extraction Carpet Cleaner will not remove the stain resistant properties manufactured in to the carpet and will actually replenish them. As a bonus, this product eliminates the need for a defoamer, even on carpeting with residue from previous shampoos.
